Your balance in plain words

Short answer

Your balance has three parts: Pending is still waiting out its delay, Available goes in your next payout, and In transit has left for your bank. Open Balance in the dashboard to see all three.

The three figures

On screenWhat it means
PendingTaken from your customer, and still inside your settlement delay. It cannot be paid out yet.
AvailableYours, and paid out in your next payout.
In transitAlready taken out of your balance for a payout that is on its way to your bank.

Available dropping to zero on your payout day is normal. The money has moved to In transit.

All three are in Belize dollars, even when you price in US dollars.

What changes each figure

  • A payment goes into Pending, less our fee. It moves to Available when its delay passes.
  • A refund comes out of Available, even if the payment it refunds is still Pending.
  • A payout takes everything in Available.
  • A chargeback takes the disputed amount out of Available until the bank decides.

Why Available can be below zero

A refund or a chargeback can take more than Available holds. A figure below zero is the amount you owe, and no payout is sent until your new payments bring it back above zero. What happens to my money during a dispute explains the usual cause.

See what moved it

Balance transactions, under the three figures, lists everything that has moved your balance. A payment appears once. It changes from Pending to Available when its delay passes, so nothing is counted twice.
