Match a payout to your bank statement
Short answer
Each payout is one transfer, for the amount on its page, carrying a bank reference you can search for at your bank. Download the payout’s statement to see every payment, refund and fee behind it.In this article
Find the transfer
- Open Payouts in the dashboard and choose the payout.
- Copy the bank reference. It appears once the payout says Sent, under What happened and Not in your account?, and it is also in the email we sent.
- Search for that reference at your bank.
The payout’s page also shows which account it went to, by its last four digits. We never show the full number on a screen.
Check what it paid for
Press Download statement on the payout’s page. The file lists every movement the payout covers, and they add up to its amount. Give it to your bookkeeper as it is.
What this covers, further down the same page, shows the same lines on screen: payments, refunds, our fees and any disputes or adjustments, and a line saying they add up to the payout. Dates there are in Belize time, and the file’s are in UTC.
If a payout says Sent and is not in your account, the page says to give your bank the reference after 2 business days.
Things to know
- One payout is one transfer, for the amount on its page.
- If a payout was cancelled, its own statement still names what it would have covered. The money returns on the next payout’s statement, so nothing is counted twice or lost.
