Charge a saved card for an invoice (beta)
Short answer
Your developer can pay an open invoice with a card your customer has saved, so they do not have to open the invoice’s link. It is in beta, like every charge on a saved card.In this article
How it works
Your developer asks for an open invoice to be paid with one of the customer’s saved cards. The payment appears under Payments against this invoice, and the invoice says Paid once it succeeds.
There is no button for it in the dashboard. Without a developer, send the invoice, and your customer pays it on its own page.
Why it is in beta
Charging a saved card for real has not been proven on a live account yet. Until it is, do not rely on it for invoices you need paid on time.
Ask first
Only charge a saved card with your customer’s agreement, for an amount they expect.
