Cards your customers save (beta)

Short answer

A customer can save their card so that your developer can charge it later without them typing it again. It is in beta, because charging a saved card for real has not been proven yet.

How a card is saved

Your developer saves a card when the customer pays through your website, with their agreement. The number is typed on the bank’s page, as always, and we keep only the brand, the last four digits and the expiry.

Saving and charging a card are done by your developer. The dashboard shows saved cards and lets you remove them.

What beta means

Saving a card and charging it later both work in Test mode. Charging a saved card in live mode depends on permission for your account that has not been confirmed yet, so do not build your business on it until we say it is ready.

See or remove a saved card

Open the customer under Customers. Saved cards lists each one.

Press Forget to remove one. It cannot be charged again, and the bank is asked to forget it too. Do it straight away if a customer asks.
