A payment link says it’s no longer available

Short answer

Your customer sees "This payment link is no longer available" when the link is turned off, or the price it charges has been archived. Turn it back on, or send them a link that works.

In this article

Open it under Payment links.

  • It says Off. It was turned off. Press Turn back on, and the same address works again.
  • It says Active. The price it charges may be archived. Open the product under Products, and look at the price’s status.

If the price was archived

A price cannot be edited, so it may have been archived on purpose when the price changed. Either restore it, with Restore beside the price, or make a new link with the new price and send that.

A link made in Test mode only works with test cards. Make the link again in Live mode for real customers.

Something different

"This payment link has expired" is a checkout page that sat too long. The checkout page expired explains it.
