Products and prices
Short answer
A product is something you sell, and a price is what it costs. Payment links charge a price, and invoices can use one, so you type an amount once and reuse it.Add a product
- Open Products and press New product.
- Give it a Name, and a Description if you want.
- Under Its first price, choose the Currency and how the amount is decided: A fixed amount or The payer chooses, within a range.
- Press Create product.
A price in US dollars is charged in Belize dollars, at the fixed rate of BZ$2.00 to US$1.00.
A price cannot be edited
A price never changes once it exists, because a link quotes it to people you cannot reach. To charge something different:
- Open the product, and under Add a price, add the new one.
- Make a new payment link with it.
- Archive the old price. Any link that charges it stops taking payments.
A Nickname, such as "Walk-up rate", tells two prices of one product apart.
Archive a product
Press Archive on the product’s page, and Restore to bring it back. Its links keep working, because archiving a product leaves its prices alone.
On an invoice
When you add a line to an invoice, From your catalogue lists your active fixed prices in the invoice’s currency.
