Do I get your fee back when I refund?
Short answer
Yes. Our fee is returned in proportion to what you refund, so a full refund returns all of it.Verified 1 November 2026
How it works
Our fee is 5% of a payment, with no fixed fee and no monthly fee. A refund returns the matching share of that fee to your balance.
| Example | Full refund | Part refund |
|---|---|---|
| Customer paid | BZ$100.00 | BZ$100.00 |
| Our fee | BZ$5.00 | BZ$5.00 |
| You refund | BZ$100.00 | BZ$40.00 |
| Fee returned to you | BZ$5.00 | BZ$2.00 |
| Taken from your balance | BZ$95.00 | BZ$38.00 |
Several part refunds on one payment return the fee once in total, never more than you paid.
What is not returned
A dispute is not a refund. A chargeback takes the disputed amount through a different process, explained in What happens to my money during a dispute.
If you agreed a different rate
Some negotiated rates keep the fee on a refund. Yours says which, and it never changes for a payment you have already taken.
