# Reports for your accountant

Open **Reports**, choose the dates, and you get a summary of what moved, checked against your balance, and CSV downloads of payments, refunds, payouts and balance transactions.

Who can: Owner, Administrator, Developer, Analyst can do this in [Reports](https://dashboard.secureprocessing.app/reports).

## A period at a glance

1. Open **Reports**.
2. Set **From** and **To**, and press **Show period**. **To** is not included, so the 1st to the 1st is a whole month.

You see the **Opening balance**, **Charges, net**, **Paid out** and **Closing balance**, then **What moved**: charges, refunds, payouts and any disputes or adjustments, each with its count, gross, fees and net.

**Ledger agrees** means these figures and your balance were worked out separately and match. If it ever says **Ledger disagrees — contact support**, write to us before you reconcile that period.

## Files to send

Under **Download**:

- **Payments CSV:** every payment started in the period.
- **Refunds CSV** and **Payouts CSV.**
- **Balance transactions CSV:** every movement of your balance, which is what adds up to the change between the opening and closing balance.

Each money column appears twice, as a whole number of cents and as money. Times in the files are in UTC.
