# Receipts your customers get

We email your customer a receipt once the bank has confirmed the money, and another if you refund them. The payment’s page shows whether each one arrived.

## What a receipt shows

- How much they paid, and your business’s name
- What they were charged in Belize dollars, if you priced in US dollars
- What it was for, if the payment has a description
- The card it was paid with, the date and a reference
- Your support address, or your owner’s sign-in address if you have not set one

## Where it goes

It goes to the address on the payment: the one your customer typed, or the one on their customer record. If there is no address, there is no receipt. A payment link always asks for one.

## Did it arrive?

Open the payment under **Payments**. Next to **Receipt** you will see one of these:

| On screen | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sending | It is on its way out. |
| Sent | We handed it over for delivery. |
| Delivered | Their email provider accepted it. |
| Not delivered: address bounced | The address does not work, so check it with your customer. |
| Not delivered: marked as spam | Your customer’s email marked it as spam. |
| Not delivered: address blocked | We no longer send to this address. |
| Not sent | We did not try. In Test mode, that means the address is not on your team. |
| Could not be sent | We tried several times and could not hand it over. Check the address with your customer, and write to us if it looks right. |

## Let customers reach you

Set a **Customer support email** under **Settings → Business**. It appears on receipts, so a question comes to you instead of becoming a dispute. A reply to a receipt goes only to a support email you have set.

## Turning receipts off

Your owner or an administrator can turn receipts or refund receipts off under **Settings → Customer emails**. We recommend leaving them on.

## In Test mode

Test mode only emails your own team, so a receipt to any other address is not sent.
