# Turn off a payment link

Open the link and press **Turn off**. Anyone who opens it then sees "This payment link is no longer available", and you can press **Turn back on** at any time.

Who can: Owner, Administrator, Developer can do this in [Payment links](https://dashboard.secureprocessing.app/payment-links).

## Turn it off

1. Open **Payment links** and choose the link.
2. Press **Turn off**.

The link now says **Off**. Anyone who opens it sees "This payment link is no longer available", with nothing about your business on it. Payments already taken through it stay as they are.

## Turn it back on

Press **Turn back on** on the same page. The same address and QR code work again.

## Archiving a price turns its links off too

If you archive the price a link charges, under **Products**, the link stops taking payments in the same way. To change a price, make the new link first, then archive the old price. [Why can’t I change a link’s price?](https://docs.secureprocessing.app/help/payment-links/why-cant-i-change-the-price.md) explains why.

Links cannot be deleted. A turned-off link stays on your list, so you can always see what it took.
